====== ClassiCube ======

ClassiCube is a replica of Minecraft in classic versions phase during 2009. After Mojang shutted down the Minecraft Classic website and servers, some people decided to revive the great service. At this moment ClassiCube is focused on letting players connect to multi-player servers and Enchanced Mode, which will we talk about in the next section.

===== Enchanced Mode =====

Besides original Minecraft Classic experience, ClassiCube bundled its own modifications and improvements, such as hacks (flying, noclipping, speeding), which in fact has been already implemented in older, hacked Java clients. ClassiCube also supports custom textures, blocks, client-side and server-side plugins, level environment settings, and way more improvements included in Classic Protocol Extension. All of that, combined or not, gives full modularity and enchancement to the game.

===== Servers in 2026 =====

The most popular ClassiCube server of all time is Not Awesome 2 with almost 60 thousand unique player logins. There are also popular minigames servers like Good old lava survival or New Blood [Zombie Survival]. Other interesing servers are MINESWEEPER and Infinite Backrooms.

===== Server Software =====

Server software in ClassiCube is a software that gives us fully
playable Minecraft-ish game that can be hosted in local and global network. There is plenty of server software that is worse or better.

As from 28 June, the most popular server software is **[[classicube:mcgalaxy|MCGalaxy]]**, that is also the most actively developed server software, made by the same people who made ClassiCube.
